Proled

Proled – Telematic Designer is a software for the design of medium and low voltage power lines, based on the regulations of the specific country where it is applied.

The solution was developed in close collaboration with E-Distribuzione.

Currently, Proled can be considered the Italian standard for the design of overhead power lines, but it remains a constantly evolving and expanding solution to keep up with technological advancements.

What does Proled do?

Proled is a comprehensive software: it manages the entire design workflow, from importing surveyed points to generating the necessary documentation for line implementation

Design of new lines and verification of existing lines

Proled includes a complete database of both the old and new Enel standardization.

Compliance with all regulations required by the country of design

Proled is currently used in Spain, Romania, Chile, Colombia, Brazil, Peru, and Argentina.

Management and refinement of topographic survey

Proled can handle the import of surveyed points recorded by a topographic instrument in ASCII, DXF, and Shape File formats.

Design option in Google Maps or from the survey

The designer can mark points directly within Proled’s Google Maps environment or manually populate the survey table.

Insertion and management of branch lines

The project can include disconnected main lines as well as main lines with their connected branches.

Distance checks

Distance checks are performed both vertically (distance from the ground or other types of crossings) and horizontally (distance from buildings, other power lines, etc.).

Calculation of the tension of an existing line and signaling spheres

Proled can calculate the tension of an existing line based on the knowledge of the maximum sag.

Output: generation of staking, tension, and derived pull tables

The output tables perfectly follow the model used by E-Distribuzione.

Output: export to PDF, Shape File, and DXF

Once the project is completed, it is possible to export the project in various formats.
