What is "Bee Next"?
“Bee Next” is a project that has deep roots.
From our passion for honey, we have embraced the cause of bees, one of the crucial elements in the fight for environmental protection.
Today, thanks to our collaboration with the beekeeper from Fabriano, Luca Bianchi, we understand well that honey is just a small part of what bees do, certainly the most delicious part.
In reality, bees play a crucial role in pollination, supporting the reproduction of plants and sustaining entire ecosystems.
In simple terms, they are responsible for 70% of the world’s crops, meaning the majority of the food we buy in the fruit and vegetable section of supermarkets!
This process is therefore essential for our food chain and for promoting sustainable agricultural practices.
Our support
for local beekeeping
Motivated by this newfound awareness of the importance of bees, we decided to actively support local beekeeping by creating, together with Luca Bianchi, 25 new bee families.
25 new queens capable of generating up to 50,000 bees per hive at their peak expansion!
The first step was to find a suitable location to ensure an organic approach to honey production. In this regard, we sought and established a collaboration with an organic farmer, allowing us to create a synergy that benefits both parties, promoting greener and more sustainable agriculture.
