Pick to light

Pick to light is a very useful solution to support operators who are mainly involved in the assembly process. This solution aims to guide the operator step by step.

By working in this way, no time will be wasted searching for various objects or reading instructions.

Pick to light: How it works

The tools needed for the assembly process are grouped by type, in different drawers. Each drawer will have a light that will turn on when it’s time to pick up that screw or bolt. Once the part gets picked up, the operator will push a button that will turn off that light and turn on the light for the next component.

Communication happens via Ethernet.
The operating logic of the software will be defined with the customer: variety of possible use scenarios.
Lights of different colors can be used, whose meaning can take on different connotations (e.g. different colors for different operators)..
